KoALOHA OPIO AKÁCIA a SMRK MASIV TENOR UKULELE
A změnil se i vzhled: Akácie má výraznější kresbu než sapele a nová Opia dostala mírně lesklý, velmi tenký matný lak.
Milovníci „starého“ vzhledu KoAloha budou potěšeni nápisem „KoAloha“ vyřezaným do kobylky a javorovými inleji:-))

In the latest series, Koaloha has omitted the "Opio" on the headstock. This is intended to make them even closer to the original from Hawaii. Otherwise, everything I wrote about the previous series applies to the "new" ones:
After the sensational Opio series ukuleles made from Sapele by the Rebel factory in Thailand, KoAloha has the new Opios made from acacia. They have also added new models to the Opio range, they are now also available as soprano and concert long-necks and in the standard sizes with a spruce top. They are also delivered in a good gig bag. I think these were very good ideas!
The Sapele Opios already had this characteristic KoAloha sound. This is of course also present in the new Opios made from acacia, because the typical features such as the unibrace, the stronger side and the musubi sound hole have of course been retained. By choosing acacia as the tonewood, the new Opios come even closer to the sound of a "real" KoAloha made from koa, in my opinion.
The sound is a little more detailed and defined compared to the Sapele Opios, without losing the warmth, punch and dynamics. For a little more than half the price, you get a lot of KoAloha sound.
And the look has changed too: Acacia has a stronger grain than Sapele, and the new Opios have been given a slightly shiny, very thin matt varnish.
Lovers of the "old" KoAloha look will be delighted with the "KoAloha" carved into the bridge and the maple inlays:-))
Conclusion: a sensational ukulele for this price!! Andrew (Hawaiian Music Supply) said of the Opios that they would go down in history as some of the best ukuleles ever made. To my ears, the new Opios topped it all.
