Ohana ukuleles are a popular choice for ukulele players throughout the world, mainly due to the high level of finish, not only on the top-end solid wood models but also on the more basic plywood models. The range of styles and sizes offered is very wide, even offering many traditional shaped replicas of ukes from the 1920s and 30s such as the Vita and the Bell shaped ukulele. The prices are also fairly reasonable and not only for the ply and semi ply models.
Ohana music company manufacture quality ukulele for a good price, even the entry level instruments offer reliability, and the solid wood higher level models can be truly sublime. Ken Middleton who is known to many in this country for his valuable contribution to the Czech Ukulele Festival represents the company in Europe and assists in the creation of new and interesting models, some of which are modeled on classic ukuleles from the past, such as the Nuno or the Bell shaped ukuleles.
